Expressing the Inner Twerp

As a boy, I hated those who seemed to enjoy teasing and always got their way. But I was also envious. They seemed so sure of themselves, they lived without apparent guilt, they were powerful.

Although I lacked the poise and malice of the true Twerp, I had my moments of mischief. The sound of my older sister yelling "You Little Twerp!" over some wrong I'd done to her still rings loud and clear. Do I feel guilty? A little!
