G-Spot Art Gallery A Note from the curator...
Greetings, and welcome to this, the first ever public exhibition of works from the permanent collection of G-Spot Records. Whereas many successful musicians squander their enormous incomes on hedonistic displays of excess, Mr. Spot has spent years quietly amassing a collection of fine art to rival the major museums of the world. In fact, many museums have borrowed from Mr. Spot's collection, under the express stipulation that the loan of the works be credited "anonymous". (You all have doubtless seen many works credited thusly - Assuredly all works from this very collection). Mr. Spot wanted, above all, to not be accused of hedonistic displays of excess. But due to the increasing difficulties involved in insuring works that apparently belong to no one, Mr. Spot has been forced to reveal himself as the rightful owner of these masterwworks.
The world, and myself, could not be more grateful at this turn of events. This collection deserves to be seen and appreciated by not just the fortunate few, but by the unwashed multitudes. Few are the museums that are equipped for unwashed multitudes, however, and that's where the miracle of the world wide web comes into play. Now, whosoever sits at a computer, be they clean or filthy, is able to view inspiring, towering, majestic and powerfully moving works of art, in the privacy of their own cubicle. Take your time, linger, meditate, probe. Or simply scroll quickly from one work to the next. Either way, you will come into contact with some of the more weighty and meaningful visual expressions of our age. Welcome to the collection! F. Hottenspot

Curator's Note - Of particular interest in this charming commentary is the scene in quadrant one (reminiscent of Seurat, yes?). Upon very close inspection, one can see our illustrious benefactor, Mr. Spot himself, leaning on his naked elbow and pointing the way. High quality reproductions of this card reveal amazing details un-reproducible via this website - Such high quality reproductions of this and other delightful postcard art by Mr. Jouris are available by clicking on the artwork itself - A true interactive art experience!
Our Apologies... Due to international copyright restrictions, this concludes the portion of the collection that we are able to bring to you at this time. Check back next month for works by Picasso, Renoir and Breugel! F. Hottenspot
