When I went to college, the classes were usually
intense analyses of everything from philosophy to music. I marveled
at how complex everything was. I analyzed everything with gusto!
Then one night I was at the movies (a favorite pastime) and I
found that I could no longer enjoy just watching a movie - I was
too busy analyzing and marveling at all the elements. What a silly
predicament!
I found a way to turn down my analytical mind, and allow pleasure
to return to life.
Now, when I need to analyze something, I have the skills to do
so. But generally I like to keep things simple! |
